Welcome

The Mt. Airy Chapter of the IWLA is an all-volunteer, nonprofit wildlife conservation and shooting club offering a wide range of outdoor recreational facilities. The club features 2 skeet fields, 7 trap fields, centerfire rifle ranges at 25, 50, 100, 200, and 300 yards, as well as both a 25-yard pistol range and a steel pistol range. An archery range is also available for members and guests.


All rifle and pistol ranges include covered pavilion firing positions for shooter comfort and protection. In addition, hunting is permitted on the club’s more than 150 acres of property during designated hunting seasons.

                                          

Skeet and Trap are open Thursday (5:30p – 8:30p) 

                                                Be sure to check the web calendar anytime you head up to the clubhouse or ranges.
 

Upcoming Events

  • Monthly Shoot – The next monthly shoot is June 6th at 9 AM.   This will be at the rifle range. This will be a Military style shoot with any center fire military rifles.  For more information click here.

  • Spring Fun in the Sun Trap League starts June 9th

Monthly membership meetings start @ 700pm – Food for the June meeting will be Lasagna and Garlic Bread
