Izaak Walton League - Mt Airy Chapter

Welcome

The Mt. Airy Chapter of the IWLA is an all-volunteer nonprofit wildlife conservation and shooting club, with 2 skeet fields, 7 trap fields,  a 100-yard rim fire range, a 25, 50, 100, 200, and 300-yard big bore range, and a 25-yard pistol range, also a archery range.
The rim fire, big bore, and pistol ranges all have covered pavilion firing positions. Hunting is permitted on the club property (over 150 acres) during hunting season.

December 23 – Rumors about Mt Airy ending trap shoots at our club are NOT TRUE.  There has been no discussion within the Board of Directors in regards to eliminating this program.   In fact, we recently met with the Trap Committee Chairman and agreed to reduce target prices to ensure our program continues.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact Larry Davidson or the Trap Committee Chairman Brian Sullivan.

In September, the club adopted a concealed carry policy.  You can find this on the Club Policy Page here.

Monthly membership meetings start @ 700pm

Please remain courteous of your fellow members and use social distancing and face coverings when needed.
