Frederick County offers an Adopt-A-Road program to local organizations to adopt sections of Frederick County roads for litter cleanup
The Mt Airy Izaak Walton club participates in the Frederick County Adopt A Road program and is responsible for 4.04 miles of Woodville Road and Shirley Bohn Road that are adjacent to the club.
The program’s goal is to remove unsightly litter from the roadsides at least 4 times per year.

The club held a roadside cleanup on Saturday, April 2nd. They were able to clean up 8 bags of garbage!!!
